I've tried to use an FM transmitter in my vehicle for my iPod, but I've always had bad luck.  The sound quality has always been pretty poor.

Maybe it was because I hadn't chosen the right unit, or because I didn't have it in the right place in my car.  Any recommendations for which FM transmitters are best, or how to best use them in my car?
