I'm seeing a lot of in-dash DVD players.  The most common design seems to be the type where a 7" screen (or therabouts) slides out of the player.

Have you had good luck with this type of design?  It seems like a lot of things to "break" to me.

Is a setup with an external monitor a better way to go?
