Sirius or XM Radio?

Which of the two main satellite radio providers do you use, and why?  Which do you think is the better value, based on the content they provide?

I always thought they'd merge at some point

I get XM free from DirectTV so I'm partial to that, but I haven't hooked up either in the car

Wow... if I had it for free, I'd definitely be using it.  Do you listen to your MP3 player in the car then?

I use Sirius exclusivly right now. Why? Cause of Howard. Listen to his show every morning.

I only listen in my car, I could hookup to the home, but after a few hours commuting time I am ready for something else. :)

Looks like the merger is going to go through:

BTW, I have both Sirius and XM and for music, XM is far superior.

Thanks for the tip. What do you mean by superior though. I use Sirius and it's only because of Howard Stern.
